Feminism in the Church: Egalitarianism = Complementarianism

The slow creep of feminism is starting to gain speed in the church. The redfining of terms has always been at work. It is no longer masquerading as differing views on complementarianism, but feminism has not been shy about its pressure on the Conservative Church, as they use popular Christians teachers to promote egalitarianism. Which at the core has the same dictionary definition. But only deems to exclaim “Did God Really Say”?

Here we are in the 21st Century and most of the Seminaries are now cemeteries for they teach another gospel, a dead religion. A dead religion that is made of up man pleasing, creation loving, God hating doctrines, contrary to scriptural doctrines. And one of these doctrines of demons is egalitarianism. They are more about White Privledge and Feminist Intersectionality than anything to do with the Lord’s Kingdom.

Dictionary definition of Christian egalitarianism is as found in Wikipedia: Christian egalitarianism (derived from the French word gal, meaning equal or level), also known as biblical equality, is egalitarianism based in Christianity. In theological spheres, egalitarianism generally means equality in authority and responsibilities between genders, in contrast to complementarianism.

You will see we have in the definition “in contrast to complementarianism”. This part of the definition is laughable but speaks to the doctrine of demons that is at work. You see in the 1980’s Christians scholars in their attempt to soften the term Patriarchy, and compromise, because the feminists were at the proverbial door, they adopted the term “complementarianism”. Which did give them a few decades of peace but now they (feminists) are at the door, yet again. This time they don’t care about the ruse that was and is “complementarianism”.

No, they want it all. Men must submit to women. . Because the compromise was made in the 1980’s, and because of that compromise they must gain ground. They always do, sadly without much of a fight. They know they won’t lose ground; their goal is to press in on the men that are the leaders in Protestantism and demand surrender of all that is biblical and give them their Marxist, God hating demand. Because Patriarchy, God ordained hierarchy in Scriptures will not be tolerated. And in fact, it must be crushed.

Sadly, we can look at other doctrines that the “liberal church” has pushed on the Bible believing Church, doctrines of demons that are now taught as biblical historical Truth in the church. We can look at birth control (Margaret Sanger herself introduces to church) which has led to a very mute church on ending the holocaust that is child sacrifice (abortion). As we have over 100,000 professing Christians murdering their children every year. Silence in the Church speak volumes. And on the sidewalk in front of the mills the women convey about how “God has already forgiven me” “Jesus loves me” “Jesus loves abortion” and a lot of more blasphemous statements on God’s approval of abortion. This is the feminist Church. I contend it has already took hold.

As I mentioned previously about egalitarianism, this creeping in was subtle and quiet. We have Jen Wilkin dropping some articles on The Gospel Coalition website. The one that I first remember, and I had to look up again was in 2013. She urged Church Leaders and Pastors (Church Planters) “How sweet a thing when a woman of apparent ministry gifting elicits from male leadership not “Oh, no,” but “At last!” God help complementarians if we spend our energies fastidiously chalking the boundaries of a racecourse we never urge or equip our women to run. I have to think that egalitarians would grow quieter in their critiques if we could point to more women within our ranks who convincingly demonstrate equal, complementary value in our churches.”

You see how she pitted complementarianism against egalitarianism? She does not reject the feminists view but rather indicates if we do A (put women in in men’s ministry roles) then they “would grow quieter”. This is historically how false doctrine is introduced and finally accepted. She is given a voice on a very progressive and popular “Christian” website. A website that most unsuspecting Christians know very little about the agenda that is being pushed.

And only using Jen Wilkins as one of many examples, we see her getting her “voice” in many biblical churches around the country. What most of these biblical churches don’t know is that she is leading and counseling men. She has written such articles titled “Counsel for a Complementarian Pastor” and “more pressing than women preachers. This is dangerous territory, and most don’t understand that this is a silent rebellion or a mute “revolution”.

The women should keep silent in the churches. For they are not permitted to speak, but should be in submission, as the Law also says.

1 Corinthians 14:34 ESV

Now make no mistake, there are other women and godly men that recognize the language and the technique that is being employed to propagate this doctrine of demons. And some of them are being laughed or discounted that they are assuming to much. That they are judging motives. But the language is there, in their own words. Why is it ignored? Their wisdom of biblical truth and history are discounted for expediency and a false peace that will in time produce full apostasy.

Where are the men in the pulpit that will stand against this, unashamedly? We are proud to know very few, and we are thankful we do. God’s Word is true no matter what the is the failure of men to obey. The True Church has always been refined by the pressure of the false Church and their resolve to stand against their lies, the very doctrines of demons.

I have been in bible studies that were cringe worthy and got so bad I stopped attending. At first, I would make rebuttals on things that were contrary to sound doctrine, but let’s be honest that is hard to keep up when you are alone in speaking up. I took the easier road and just didn’t go, with my husband’s counsel, of course. I wept many times and prayed. I was depressed and struggled greatly. knew what God’s Word said and could not be convinced that it had suddenly changed to fit a cultural narrative.

As Christian women, it will get more difficult as time goes on in this fallen world to hold to these biblical Truths but for true followers of Christ, the narrow path has never been an easy one. Living out our Christian faith in all areas of our lives, being submissive to our own husbands, loving them and our children does and will set us apart from this culture. A culture that wants to throw their husbands and children away to find a fake temporary “happiness” that does not exist on this earth. The feminist are simply out to destroy the family and the Church, just as they always have. I encourage you to stand fast, hold true to what God has said and He will sustain you through all of the trials that surely will come from standing in His Truth. The way is hard, but the reward is Great!!

Things to think about:

  1. Christian Egalitarianism seeks to not only put women in leadership positions, but I will go as far as to say they want what secular feminism wants and has largely obtained. They want men to submit to women
  2. Men submitting to women has been the goal from the beginning, in the Garden. God said that this would be women desire.
  3. As women of God, we need to be aware of who is teaching us, and what their goal is in their teaching. Many are creeping in and teaching false doctrines and we must be Bereans. Test what they say against God’s Word. If they are teaching contrary in any way, make it known first to your husband.

Titus 2:5 ESV

To be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled

1 Peter 3:5-6 ESV

For this is how the holy women who hoped in God used to adorn themselves, by submitting to their own husbands, as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord. And you are her children, if you do good and do not fear anything that is frightening.

Acts 17:11 ESV

11 Now these Jews were more noble than those in Thessalonica; they received the word with all eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so
